Intra web application
Boeing needed an intra-portal to streamline internal communication, document sharing, and task management. The portal had to support two primary roles:
- Admin(manages users, controls access, uploads critical content)
- Normal User (views content, accesses tools, collaborates with team)
The goal was to create a secure, intuitive, and scalable intranet portal that improved employee productivity and reduced friction in accessing internal resources.
Employees faced challenges with scattered information, manual approvals, and limited accessibility. Boeing wanted:
- A centralized portal to unify tools, documents, and announcements.
- Role-based access for Admin vs Normal User.
- Easy search and navigation for quick information retrieval.
User Interviews: Conducted with 3 Admins and 6 Normal Users.
- Admins wanted bulk user management and analytics dashboards.
- Users wanted quick search and personalized dashboards.
- Both groups valued a clean, uncluttered design.
